Academy roster — Overwatch 2

Pixelfoxes'
undefeated split

Pixelfoxes Academy players competing side by side

Overview

Fourteen matches.
Zero losses.

Pixelfoxes Academy had the mechanics to win their region — and a bad habit of dropping maps they should have closed. Mid-tournament adaptation was guesswork, ultimates arrived in clumps, and comms got faster and emptier the closer a series got.

The org put the academy roster on a full-season Tiltproof plan: weekly reviewed scrims, a comms system imported from our IGL curriculum, and ult-economy homework the players genuinely did.

The challenge

Winning maps,
losing series

Review showed the bleed clearly: won first maps comfortably, then failed to adapt when opponents adjusted. Ult usage overlapped, target focus dissolved, and nobody owned the mid-series reset conversation.

The approach

A system for
every map five

Every series got a map-five protocol: who talks, what gets tracked, which ults are banked. Scrim blocks rehearsed losing positions on purpose. By playoffs the roster had played more practiced comebacks than any opponent — and needed fewer of them than expected.
