Ranked climb — Valorant

From Platinum
to Diamond in six weeks

Overview

Stuck for three acts.
Free in six weeks.

Maya queued four nights a week and finished every act within a hundred RR of where she started. Her aim was comfortably Diamond — her decisions were not. She joined Tiltproof on the 1-on-1 game sense track with one goal: stop donating rounds after winning the opening duel.

The diagnosis week found it fast. Maya rotated on sound cues she had not actually confirmed, and she re-queued instantly after losses — her worst decisions always arrived in games three and four of a tilted session.

The challenge

Good aim,
bad patterns

Nine decision errors were mapped across three VODs, but two caused most of the damage: rotating off confirmed intel, and forcing retakes without utility. Both are fixable — both are invisible without review.

The approach

Two fixes,
rehearsed daily

Coach Alina built a two-item queue mission: confirm before rotating, default to post-plant positions without intel. Twice-weekly VOD reviews graded every rotation, and a two-loss queue rule ended the tilt sessions. Diamond hit in week six — verified on stream.
